About this program:
Our two main intensive language programs: English - Language and Culture and French - Language and Culture lead to the McGill Certificates of Proficiency. They have an outstanding international reputation and welcome hundreds of international students every year. We also offer customized English (ESL) and French (FSL) language training to local and international groups. We tailor-make our programs to meet their specific linguistic and communicative need. Our programs have the following objectives: - To deliver university-level English or French language instruction of the highest standards at all levels; - To employ innovative and up-to-date pedagogical approaches and technological resources to facilitate language acquisition; - To provide individualized pedagogical monitoring and support - To motivate learners to achieve fluency in English and/or French as well as an awareness of essential socio- cultural references - To ensure that our students have the necessary linguistic skills to pursue their professional, academic, or personal goals
