About this program:
*Please note that we have reached the maximum number of friends/fans. Please visit our website for more info.* Located in Vancouver, The University of British Columbia is one of the largest and most highly ranked universities in the world. UBC's English Language Institute has welcomed students to its ESL programs since it opened in 1969. What takes place in the classroom is only the beginning of your learning experience. Our social activities program is just one of the special features that make the UBC ELI an exceptional place to learn English. The variety of social activities and clubs offered by our Cultural Assistants, or CAs, gives students the opportunity to experience Canadian culture and get involved in Canadian life. When you come to study at the UBC English Language Institute you may choose to have us meet you at the Vancouver International Airport, to stay with one of our Vancouver host families, or (if you come in the summertime) to stay right on the UBC campus in a dormitory. With our in house homestay program and social activities, in addition to exceptional classes, students will enjoy an optimal learning experience though full English language immersion.
