What Ruthin School is all about
Ruthin is a very special school. It is a coeducational, boarding school for pupils from age 11 - preparing them for top ranking universities in the world. Having approximately 200 pupils, it is small enough to allow all staff to know each pupil, whether they teach them or not.The friendly family atmosphere enables pupils to excel, whether in sport, music or their academic studies.

Academic success is our first priority and we are proud that our leaving pupils go to some of the best universities in the world – including Cambridge, Oxford, LSE, Imperial, UCL, Warwick and Yale (USA).
Activities outside the classroom are important and our pupils enjoy a range of sport, music and leadership skills that provide them with a variety of interests.
