What ESL Wilderness Ranch is all about
Chilcotin Holidays ESL Wilderness Ranch in beautiful British Columbia offers a more relaxed and safer studying environment than the big city learning centres. We are attached to a horse ranch with over 40 horses. The school is situated about 5 hours drive from Vancouver in the Chilcotin Mountains. Students attend classroom studies in the morning then put their new language abilities to use working with and riding the horses in the afternoon. Students are accommodated and have all their meals on the ranch, we encourage only English to be spoken here and this helps with the continuity in learning the language. On the weekends, students have the opportunity to hike or ride in the mountains, or even go Grizzly viewing.
