My International Experience

Type: Travel

name of organization/institution:
where? Argentina
when? 17/12/1999 until 04/01/2000
brief explanation: Visiting Argentina was incredible! Although it's been more than 10 years, I still can remember all the details. My Spanish improved a lot and what I liked the most was the opportunity to be in touch with a diferent culture, nice food, the welcoming people and the wonderful landscapes!
would I do it again? Absolutely!

Type: Travel

name of organization/institution:
where? Germany
when? 07/11/2008 until 30/11/2008
brief explanation: Well, finaly Argentina was no longer my only experience abroad. Spending the winter in Germany gave the chance to see snow for the first time in my life! Besides, we Brazilians usualy think that German people is cold, serious, don't like foreigner, and I see it's just the oposite. From little boys to old ladies, everybody was nice to me when I needed to ask for directions or whatever it was. I didn't learn the language very well, because I mostly communicated in English, but now, German Language doesn't sound like a 7 headed monster to me and I'm sure, as soon as I have the chance, I'll be studing it seriously.
would I do it again? Absolutely!

Type: Travel

name of organization/institution:
where? France
when? 14/11/2008 until 14/11/2008
brief explanation: Being in Europe allows you to visit many countries! Unfortunately, circunstances such as money, time and friends to see in Germany only allowed me to visit France. Besides, it was only one city: Strasbourg. Anyway, it was one place and for one afternoon, but, however, I can say I've already been to France. What I liked the most was the fact that it was the border between Germany and France, and although I couldn't speak German or French, people on the streets asked me things in French and I simply answered in German: I don't speak French. (Ich spreche kein Französisch.)
would I do it again? Absolutely!

My GPA on my educational system:
GPA stands for Grade Point Average, which is a measure of a student's academic achievement at a college or university; calculated by dividing the total number of grade points received by the total number attempted. It reflects the weighted mathematical average of the quality of your work, as indicated by your grades.

Why a GPA?
Knowing your GPA is the simplest way to learn how you compare to others when you apply to study in other countries. Colleges and universities want to evaluate your grades based on their own GPA scale.
